The memory and storage are separate pieces of hardware from the processor (described here) also on the motherboard of a computer or server.
Memory = RAM = Random Access Memory
Storage = Disk Space = Hard Drive (HD) = Solid State Drive (SSD)

- Physically: a thin metal & plastic board

- Long Term Memory
- Physically: a small metal box
